Efforts started in 1994 by supplying companies with eco-friendly Hemp fabrics to Wholesalers, Designers, Internet and other Eco-Friendly businesses across North America. Since then, we've grown with the industry and evolved into designing and making a quality line-up of essential classic clothing and accessories for the whole family. We still keep to our beginnings and supply more the a dozen different hemp & bamboo fabrics.

We currently make 51 of our products right here in Canada - that's 36% of our production! And we are proud to let you know that this number grows steadily as we add new items each season. We look for quality in the materials we order. We look for care taken with the tailoring of our clothes and accessories. And we look for enduring style.

With more than 30 years of manufacturing experience in the fashion industry we are experts in producing quality products at affordable prices. Our customer service is friendly and responsive and our selection is impressive.

After all these years, we still feel the excited commitment to our customers, our products Made in Canada, and the use of eco-friendly natural Hemp, Bamboo and Soy fibers. It continues to be an exciting industry as more consumers make better life choices about the products they buy.

Hemp is the first and strongest natural fibre to be cultivated, it’s considered to be nature’s most valuable, versatile and reusable natural resource.

Unlike cotton, hemp can be grown in most any conditions without chemicals and pesticides for uses such as clothing, paper, food, medicine and cosmetics.

It has long been known that hemp fabric provides many distinct advantages such as comfort and feel, easy care and excellent durability.

Hemps resistance to mildew and bacteria as well as its high protection performance against UV rays means wearing hemp benefits both skin and health.

·    Bamboo Clothing Information

Bamboo is one of the world's most sustainable resources.  Bamboo enriches soil and protects it from erosion, which strengthens the host watershed.  Bamboo is grown without pesticides and bamboo plantations absorb five times the greenhouse gases of an equivalent stand of trees. Bamboo rayon is manufactured using a chemical process (hydrolysis alkalization), so it is not considered a sustainable fabric, making it a semi-synthetic. 
We respect the desire to meet the needs of consumers seeking to minimize their impact on the environment.   We believe our bamboo rayon clothing made from sustainable, natural fibres fits the needs of our clients.  That said, Efforts is always on the lookout for opportunities to make clothing even friendlier to the environment.
